My Son Sanctuary is Southeast Asia's largest Hindu architectural complex, hidden in a secluded valley 70km from Da Nang. Built between the 4th and 13th centuries, it was the Champa Kingdom's most important religious center — UNESCO World Heritage since 1999.
Champa Brickwork — An Unsolved Mystery
Over 70 structures built with red bricks bonded without mortar — a technique scientists still can't fully explain. Towers 15-25m tall feature intricate carvings of Shiva, Apsara dancers, and Nandi bulls, showcasing the ancient Champa's extraordinary artistry.

The Visitor Experience
Allow 2-3 hours exploring tower groups A, B, C, D — each with different architecture and dating. Entry 150,000 VND includes traditional Champa dance shows (9:15, 10:15, 2:15 PM) that vividly recreate ancient culture.

Getting There from Da Nang
Private car from Da Nang takes 1.5 hours (1,000,000-1,500,000 VND round trip). Best itinerary: My Son morning (depart 6:30 AM) → local lunch → Hoi An afternoon/evening.
