Phong Nha lies about 270km north of Da Nang, roughly 4-5 hours by car along National Highway 1A. Given the long drive, it's best to set off early in the morning, take a midday rest along the way (Dong Ha, Quang Tri), and arrive in Phong Nha by early afternoon.
Phong Nha Cave — Exploring by Boat
Phong Nha Cave stretches over 7km and is explored by boat along the Son River, which flows underground through the mountain. You glide past colossal stalactites shimmering under the lights. It's one of Vietnam's most beautiful river caves, suitable for all ages.

- Day 2: Tour Paradise Cave in the morning, have lunch, then return to Da Nang in the afternoon.
